For a change of pace

Philadelphia offers many opportunities to fill that MG with antiques, goods from the farmers market, hand made quilts and your choice of outlet shopping centers.

Shop the Amish country, QVC Studios, eclectic Peddler’s Village, and the second largest mall in America, The King of Prussia Mall (just down the road from the host hotel, shuttles available). A short drive to the Reading area will bring  you to one of the largest concentrations of outlet stores in the area.

Longwood Gardens is the World’s Premier Horticultural Showplace. Also plan to visit the breathtaking 30 acre botanical garden at Chanticleer Garden. The Philadelphia Zoo is one of the counties leading zoological gardens.

Perhaps an opportunity to see the Phillies play baseball in Citizens Bank Park. Hey, they could be playing your team!

Valley Forge and Philadelphia have many attractions that will appeal to you and your family for an affordable vacation.

Follow the path of George Washington along the trails of the Valley Forge area and the self-guided tours. The landscape is decorated with covered bridges, winding MG roads and serene settings. Along  the way, stop for an afternoon break in one of the areas many local wineries.

The scenic natural beauty of Valley Forge Park is a perfect setting to stroll past the place where the Revolutionary soldiers, slept, ate and prepared for battle in that cold winter of 1777.

Not interested in driving your MG into Philadelphia? Ride the “Big Red Bus” into Philly for a tour of the historical sites. Or Ride the “Duck” into the Delaware River for a river side view of the city, since we all know MG’s won’t float.
